About Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy has been used for decades to make quick and permanent change. There are many myths surrounding hypnosis spurred by bad fiction in the media and the entertaining uses of stage hypnotists but the truth is all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The hypnotist is just a guide with specialized training. The hypnotic state is a natural and normal state of consciousness that everyone goes through every day. The hypnotist does not ?impose his will? nor can he ?make? the client do something against their ethics or morals. If you are ready to make a lasting change in your life, hypnotherapy will be the agent of that change.
About Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
Neurolinguistic Programming is the study of subjective experience and how it relates to behaviors, relationships, communication and the pursuit of human excellence. NLP was founded in the 1970s by studying the most effective counselors of the time and modeling what they did to be effective. Since its inception, NLP has found applications in therapy, business, education and interpersonal relationships.
When used therapeutically, NLP is classified as a Cognitive-Behavioral approach and shares many techniques with CBT, EMDR, and EFT. NLP uses talk, visualization, hypnosis and many other esoteric techniques to give the client a ?how-to? guide to change.
